Enforced by code
The contract is designed to send 90% of mint revenue to the charity partner's wallet on every withdrawal. No discretionary transfers, no "trust us" step in between.
Caked Birds is a 10,000-piece collectible collection on Base — every bird frosted, sprinkled, and entirely one of a kind. Each mint is $10, and $9 of it goes to charity. Not a promise to donate later: the smart contract will route it there itself, automatically.
Most charity drops ask you to trust a promise. Caked Birds puts the split in the contract code, where anyone can read it.
The 90 / 10 split is written into the smart contract's code, so it applies to every withdrawal once the contract is deployed — and the verified source will be readable by anyone on Basescan.
The contract is designed to send 90% of mint revenue to the charity partner's wallet on every withdrawal. No discretionary transfers, no "trust us" step in between.
The contract source will be verified on Basescan at deployment, and every donation withdrawal will be posted with its transaction hash and receipt.
Conversations with established charities are under way now. The partner's name — and their receiving wallet — will be published here before the mint opens. No partner, no launch.
Slide to the size of your flock and see exactly how much of it reaches the charity partner.
Per-wallet limits will be set at launch; 25 is shown here for illustration.
goes to the charity partner from your $50 in mints. The remaining $5 covers minting infrastructure and project costs.
Nine of the ten thousand, exactly as they'll mint — art and traits pulled from the finished collection. Select any bird for its full trait list.
Every bird is assembled from the same trait system — the tiers simply mark where a bird lands in the pecking order.
Birds #1–25. Bitcoin pendants are reserved for this tier — and a small number of flock birds carry one too. Either way, these are the rarest seats in the bakery.
Birds #26–125. Ethereum pendants and the next hundred ranks in the collection.
Birds #126–10,000. Nine crypto pendants, every frosting colour, every expression — no two alike.
Stated plainly, including the parts that aren't done yet. The mint does not open until the charity partner is signed and the waitlist has had its say.
All 10,000 birds rendered and matched to their metadata — every trait accounted for, nothing left to generate.
One partner receives the full 90%. Conversations are live; the signed partner and their wallet address get published here.

Early supporters sign up below. The mint opens to the waitlist first — a launch happens when there's an audience for it, not before.
Mint date announced once steps 2–4 are complete. Afterward, every donation withdrawal is posted publicly with its transaction hash.
For anyone new to this: three steps, and the first two you can do today.
Install a wallet such as Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask. It's free, takes a few minutes, and it's where your bird lives.
Each bird is $10, paid in ETH on the Base network, plus a small network fee — usually a few cents on Base.
Waitlist members get the link first. Choose how many birds, confirm in your wallet, and $9 of each $10 is already on its way.
$10 per bird, paid in ETH on Base at the rate set when the contract deploys. Of that $10, $9 goes to the charity partner by contract; $1 covers project costs.
No date yet — deliberately. The mint opens after the charity partner is signed and announced, the contract is deployed and verified, and the waitlist has been given first access. Join the waitlist below and you'll hear the date before it's public.
Not announced yet. Talks with established charities are under way, and exactly one partner will receive the 90%. Their name and receiving wallet address will be published on this page before the mint — if there's no named partner, there's no launch.
The split is written into the smart contract itself, not a policy. Once the contract is deployed, its source will be verified on Basescan for anyone to read, and every withdrawal to the charity will be posted with its transaction hash and the charity's confirmation.
A one-of-a-kind bird from a finished 10,000-piece collection, and a mint that sent $9 to charity the moment it happened. Secondary sales on OpenSea will carry a royalty, with a share continuing to the charity — so resales keep giving too.
No. Caked Birds are collectibles for a cause. Buy a bird because you like it and because $9 of the price does some good — not because you expect it to be worth more later.
The waitlist hears the mint date first and mints before the public. Joining takes one email — no wallet, no payment, nothing to sign.
